
Early age
Trained classically, with 13 years she won the 3. Place in the competition Jugend Musiziert, Augsburg in piano duo. In 2012 her composition “Changing” was performed by the Augsburg Philharmonic as part of a composition seminar.
Studies
She continued in studying classical music with piano and voice at the University for music of Würzburg and at the same time physics, which she completed with a Bachelor degree. Meanwhile, she was working as a musician, as cantor and choir master in Würzburg Erlöserkirche and performing in more than 30 weddings with her wedding duo in the south of Germany.
Her deep love to intellectually understand the nature of sound brought her to work in the physics project Just Intonation with Professor Hinrichsen University of Würzburg, with the creation of the application Just intonation and the scientific publication "Playing Music in Just Intonation – A Dynamically Adapting Tuning Scheme” in the Computer Music Journal 2018.
Also 2018 she participated in the choir of the Dreigroschenoper Opera by Berthold Brecht, Theater Augsburg.

Life as a musician and nomad
Through a deep yearning for a harmonious and free practice of life, she chose since mid 2018 to leave all structures and live as nomad focusing on the yogic study of the self, sharing Kirtan practice in which music is used as a tool to center the mind and transcend the individual experience of separateness.
She has been offering Kirtan practice in many places in Mexico and Guatemala, so in Maloca, San Marcos, Lake Atitlan, in Huerto Roma Verde in Mexico City, with Uria Tsur in Unite in Babylon, Zipolite and in Mitotecalli, Mazunte, as well as in places in Rishikesh, India and im Chiemgau, Germany. As singer she performed in the Festival “La Presencia” in Puma Hidalgo 2022 with the Cumbia-Orchestra La Luminosa and also sharing Kirtan practice.
In May 2022 she did studio recordings of harmonium, voice and mouth drum as part of a cooperation with the artist and DJ Kris Berle, creating a studio EP (this projects are in the process of post production), as well as a Live-Kirtan concert recording with the tabla player Raven-Farhad-Tohidi in Mexico City.
In 2023/24 she traveled India and Nepal – now having lived in a nomadic way for 5 years.

Latest Projects
In 2024 Karolina felt a deep call to bring all the richness of her experiences together in a first album. For this project she recorded all the instruments from piano, santoor, transversal flute, bansuri, zylophone, morin khuur, mouth drum, didgeridoo to many voices. Living again in Germany she currently teaches piano and voice near Augsburg and keeps working on her artistical projects for more music to come.
